Pastafarianism and Flying Spaghetti Monster

Flying Spaghetti Monster

Real pastafarian

Niko Alm with pasta strainer on license as Pastafarian. An atheist, Niko Alm claimed that the pasta strainer was religious headgear as a pastafarian and member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Alm came up with the idea when he read that headgear was allowed for Austrian citizens in state IDs only for religious reasons. Alm, a Spaghetti Monster "pastafarian," argued that a colander is his "religious headgear".
